Large EXTerior Globes
Project Brief
Smith Shop interpreted and engineered an architect’s sketch to realize this set of four Regency lanterns hung across the façade of the home. The lanterns were made of forged and fabricated steel and featured custom flashed opal glass and an articulated hinged door for service. Each lamp is 4 feet tall. Smith Shop engineered, forged, fabricated, and installed the lanterns.

These sconces were designed to fit within narrow brick pilasters on the recessed façade of a modern rustic Tudor home. Each sconce is three feet tall. Smith Shop designed, forged, fabricated, and installed the sconces.

Pair of EXTerior lAnterns
Project Brief
Smith Shop interpreted and engineered an architect’s sketch to realize this pair of 3 foot tall gothic revival lanterns. The lanterns were made of forged and fabricated steel and featured custom flashed opal glass and tethering chains to prevent wind damage. Each lantern had an articulated hinged door for service. Smith Shop engineered, forged, fabricated, and installed the lanterns.
